This policy describes what Visa Decision actually does with data today. When that changes — when analytics or advertising are added — this page changes at the same time.
Who we are
Visa Decision publishes reference information about visa requirements, refusals and entry rules. We are not an immigration agency, we do not process applications, and we do not act for anyone.

What we collect
Almost nothing. There are no user accounts for readers, no newsletter, no forms, no analytics and no advertising on this site at present.
Cookies

Because the only cookies in use are strictly necessary, there is no consent banner. If that changes, one will appear and this table will list what was added.
Server logs
Our host records standard web server logs — IP address, browser, pages requested, timestamps. These are generated automatically by the hosting infrastructure, retained for a limited period, and used for security and troubleshooting.
Email you send us
If you write to us — to report an error, or to contribute an account of an application you have made — we keep that message so we can act on it and follow up. We do not add you to any mailing list, because we do not have one.
If you contribute an account for publication, we will agree with you first what is published and how you are identified. Nothing is published from an email without asking.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone
- We do not build advertising profiles
- We do not ask for passport numbers, application references, or any immigration documents — please do not send them
- We do not have reader accounts, so there is nothing to breach
Third parties
There are currently no analytics providers, advertising networks or embedded third-party services on this site. Pages link out to official government sources; those sites have their own policies and we have no control over them.
Our hosting is provided by Hostinger, which processes server logs as a data processor on our behalf.

There are currently no affiliate links on this site. If that changes, every such link will be marked and this section updated.
Commercial relationships never determine what a page says — see our editorial policy.
Your rights
If you are in the UK, EU, or another jurisdiction with equivalent law, you have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to processing.
In practice, unless you have emailed us, we almost certainly hold nothing about you beyond server logs. Either way, write to info@visadecision.com and we will respond.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
The date at the top reflects the last substantive change. Because the cookie table is generated from the site's actual configuration, it cannot describe tracking that is not running or omit tracking that is.
This policy is written to be accurate rather than exhaustive. If you need a formal legal assessment for your own purposes, take your own advice.
